<tc>NO STOCK</tc>
Our items can be divided into two categories: the vast majority is concentrated on pieces that are made to order, i.e., moving away from the current unsustainable inventory model. Producing only what is going to be used and made to measure, with no stock and no surplus. And then there are our unique pieces, items of which only one exists, maintaining their exclusivity. This is not to say that we are 100% sustainable, but the on-demand model is the biggest step we can take, production is what has the biggest impact on the planet. -
<tc>CIRCULARITY AND UPCYCLING</tc>
In Lucía G. Barcelona we work with our own workshop, on request and according to customer needs. In the same way that we also give the opportunity to rebuild and redesign pieces that you no longer wear or do not like the way they are mounted, giving them a new life.
To make use of this type of service, please contact us, we will be happy to advise and assist you in this new opportunity for joint creation. As for the possible stock of our collection of unique pieces, we apply the circularity system, in which nothing is discarded. In case it is not sold within a certain period of time, it is disassembled and reused for future pieces. -
<tc>PACKAGING</tc>
The pieces can be delicate, so we give high priority to the safety and preservation of the order in shipping. Even so, we aim to be as sustainable as possible in all our actions, so we keep our packaging simple and functional. To guarantee and protect the pieces from bumps, humidity and dirt, the outer packaging is made with kraft paper envelopes (always FSC certified) and air cushioning on both plastic sides. We know that single-use plastic is not part of a sustainable philosophy or system, but in this case it is the most resistant option. Our envelopes are 100% recyclable and have a system of easy separation of paper and plastic, so from here we ask our customers to recycle the envelope, in case they do not reuse it.Each Lucía G. Barcelona item is presented in a jute or cotton bag, in the case of necklaces, rings and earrings, and in a cardboard box in the case of bracelets and medals. Both are designed to be reused later as packaging for the same items, as they will comply with the conservation of these. -
<tc>TAXES</tc>
For us, the best way to give something back to society and Corporate Social Responsibility is to pay the taxes that correspond to us to finance education and public health, and social services. Our pieces are made in Spain, but the most important thing is that we pay taxes in Spain.
