<tc>Care and Maintenance Guide: BRASS</tc>

<tc>Maintenance and Storage</tc>
Brass is a resistant metal that can be easily soiled by many factors, such as humidity, water, cosmetics, the pH of the skin or the air itself. Therefore, when the pieces are not in use, we recommend to store and protect them in the original bag or box (or similar), to also avoid possible scratches or bruises.
We do not recommend that the brass pieces come into contact with alcohols or detergents, as they may leave permanent stains.

<tc>Cleaning</tc>
There are many ways and products to clean brass items, but below we will explain the same and unique process that Lucía G. uses to clean her pieces.
To keep them as the first day, we advise our customers to buy the following product: AVEL® Copper Brass Bronze Cleaner. Once the product is obtained, the following steps should be performed:
1. Pour generously the AVEL® cleaning liquid on the piece (it is better that this product does not come in contact with any natural stone, resin, wood or clay), and with a soft cloth spread it and rub the product well all over the piece, you will see that the liquid darkens.
2. Leave it with the product spread on a surface for 1 minute.
3. Take it carefully by the edges so as not to leave fingerprints and rinse it with water (if it is distilled water better).
4. Once rinsed with plenty of water, with a clean soft cloth, dry it well, and voilà.
